Physiotherapist jobs

Our Physiotherapists provide specialist assessments, clinical diagnoses and interventions to support people to achieve their goals, whether that’s maintaining optimal muscle function, limiting/delaying deterioration or regaining movement and mobility where possible.

In this role, you’ll work with the same team and service users to ensure continuity of care.

Our homes are relatively small in size, which means that you’ll have sufficient time to make a real difference to the lives of those in your care.

What does a Physiotherapist do?

Our Physiotherapists provide a high quality service to support people to maximise their independence and build their everyday living skills.

No two days will ever be the same, but you're day-to-day responsibilities will include: 

  • carrying out assessments

  • working with people, their loved ones and professionals to develop and deliver person-centred care plans for physiotherapy

  • focusing interventions on manual therapy techniques, education and exercise programmes

  • monitoring, evaluating and recording people’s progress, and updating and adapting their care plan as required

  • using equipment, such as appliances and aids, safely as part of therapy interventions, and ensuring that colleagues, individuals and families are adequately trained.

What skills and qualifications do I need to work as a Physiotherapist?

To work as a Physiotherapist with Exemplar Health Care, you must have a BSc or MSc in physiotherapy and be HCPC registered.

What training and career development can I do as a Physiotherapist?

There are lots of opportunities to learn and develop in your career as a Physiotherapist.

When you start with us, you’ll do a company induction which covers basic training such as health and safety and first aid.

After that, you’ll do a role specific induction in your home with the support of a buddy.
