Exemplar Health Care is looking for land to build new care homes over the next five years.
Exemplar Health Care is a leading provider of specialist nursing care for adults living with complex and high acuity needs. We already have over 30 care homes across England and have plans to double in size over the next five years. Our Commissioning Team is looking for land.
We have over 20 years of experience supporting people with a wide range of complex needs including those living with neuro-disabilities, complex mental health needs and physical disabilities.
If you know of any sites that match the criteria below, download this leaflet to find out more email land@exemplarhc.com.
We’re currently seeking potential development sites, with or without planning consent, across the UK.
We’ll consider any locations across England, but here’s a list of our key target areas.
Our care homes are equipped to support adults living with a range of complex needs and include specialist rooms and accessible gardens.
Here are some of the homes that we’ve opened in the past year.
All employees can access great savings from monthly discounts on high street shops and restaurants, pubs, holidays, and 2-for-1 cinema tickets.
You can park your car in provided spaces outside our homes, where available.
If you recommend a friend for a support worker role (such as in activities, maintenance, domestic and catering) you will both receive a payment of £150.
All employees receive free uniforms for the job, apart from employees in management and administrative roles.
Exemplar Health Care’s pension scheme is offered through the Government's auto-enrolment scheme which sees everyone aged between 22 and the state pension age automatically enrolled after their first three months on the job.
The scheme, NOW Pensions, sees colleagues have up to 5% of their earnings (depending on their salary) put into their pension. Exemplar contributes an additional 3%. This combined saving will go into your pension pot for when you reach retirement.
Each new starter has a DBS check paid for by Exemplar Health Care.
Exemplar Health Care offers various leadership programmes, and apprenticeships through the Government levy scheme. We also have a trainee nursing associate programme for carers who wish to progress in their care career.
All registered nurses with Exemplar get access to the RCNi training platform, which aims to improve the skills and knowledge of nurses and nursing. The platform contains more than 200 RCN-accredited clinical CPD learning modules.

Colleagues can also access tips and guidance on wellbeing and occupational health on our staff mobile app, MyExemplar.
Before starting work, all new employees attend a four-day induction programme, which includes theory and practical sessions on health, safety, and Exemplar’s own procedures.
