Values Awards 2025: celebrating the people who make every day better

Our Values Awards recognise and celebrate the incredible individuals who bring our values to life every day.

These awards shine a spotlight on team members who inspire others and go the extra mile, making a real difference in the lives of residents, families, and colleagues.

It’s our way of saying a huge thank you for the dedication, care, and compassion that make our homes such fantastic places to live and work.

This year, we were blown away to receive a record-breaking 2,827 nominations from colleagues, residents, and families.

People were recognised for a range of incredible achievements, such as organising and supporting someone to achieve their goal of attending football matches across the West Midlands, working with a service user to arrange a holiday which supports their needs,  and introducing unique activity experiences in homes.

For the first  ‘home-level’ round, a panel of judges, including Service User Ambassadors, reviewed the nominations and selected a winner and runner up from each home.

To coincide with Employee Appreciation Day, every home hosted a special event to honour all nominees and announce the winners and runners up.

The celebrations featured a red carpet awards ceremony at Willowbeck and a fun 360 degree photo booth party at Scotia Heights, making it a truly memorable occasion.

But the journey doesn’t stop there.

Home winners will now advance to the regional awards, where they’ll compete in the next stage of the competition.

From there, regional winners will be celebrated in style at a special awards event in May, where’ll we recognise their incredible contributions and crown the 2025 Values Awards winner, who’ll receive a trophy and £1500 holiday voucher. There are also separate award categories for Central Support Services colleagues, Home Managers, and Deputy Managers/Clinical Nurse Managers.
