Greenacre Park care home in Leicester has been rated ‘Good’ in all areas, in its Care Quality Commission (CQC) assessment.
The assessment, carried out in August of this year, reviewed how safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led the service is. The report praised the home’s culture, strong leadership, and commitment to continuous improvement, noting that Greenacre Park meets all expected standards.
Opened in October 2023, Greenacre Park supports up to 28 adults living with complex needs, spread across two 14-bed communities.
The report was filled with positive feedback from people being supported at the home, and their loved ones, leading to Inspectors commend colleagues for their dedication, positive atmosphere, and attentiveness.
One relative told inspectors: “My overall feeling is that they are doing a really good job.” A person supported at the home said, “The staff are a good and caring team. They are brilliant, nice people and talk to me all the time.”
Another relative commented:
“I feel that they are very nice and caring towards [name]. They are very patient as well and respond very well to all their needs the whole time.”
Other comments from relatives includes:
“At Greenacre, they speak to the residents respectfully and treat them as adults despite their disabilities.”

While other relatives commended the home team’s attitude, noting, “When I go to visit, [the team] are happy to see me and make me feel part of the family there. I think there is a positive vibe there.”
The CQC report noted that people living at the home feel safe, respected, and supported to live well. Inspectors observed warm, compassionate interactions and praised the team for treating people as individuals, respecting their dignity, and promoting independence.
The report also recognised the home’s focus on safety, strong medicines management, and ongoing training for colleagues. Inspectors praised the provider’s commitment to learning and improvement, describing a culture of “openness and honesty” where feedback is valued and acted upon, and “visible, knowledgeable and supportive” leaders.
