Exemplar Health Care homes enjoy fundraising for Red Nose Day

Across England, Exemplar Health Care homes have been putting the fun into fundraising for Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day.

Every two years, Comic Relief hosts Red Nose Day to encourage donations for charity.

Thanks to the donations from the public, they’re able to support amazing projects and organisations who are making a difference for people across the UK and around the world.

Exemplar Health Care goes red for the day

This year, our residents and colleagues donned their red noses and got busy baking, dressing up and taking part in activities to support the charity.

The team over at our Willowbeck home in Sheffield decided to raise money for Comic Relief by selling cupcakes around the home. They also took part in a Comic Relief quiz later in the afternoon.

Blackmoor care home based in Birmingham decided to have a cosy Red Nose Day where both residents and colleagues decided to wear their pyjamas for the occasion!

Greenside Court had a lovely afternoon making cupcakes and decorating digestive biscuits with funny faces to raise money for Red Nose Day.

Our head office also celebrated ‘Wear It Red’ day and raised an amazing £161.

Exemplar Health Care set up a JustGiving page for colleagues to donate money in aid of Red Nose Day, which will then go straight to Comic Relief and add to their final total.

Giving back to the community

At Exemplar Health Care, our homes support their local communities and a range of incredible charities by hosting celebration days and fundraisers such as Red Nose Day.

We also recently shared this story about our Edgewater care home in Wallasey who collected donations and raised funds for Islamic Relief, in aid of the recent earthquakes across Turkey and Syria.
