About the role
As a Regional Occupational Therapist with Exemplar Health Care, you’ll lead and support a team of therapists across your region to deliver exceptional therapy services.
No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
overseeing several complex cases
providing specialist assessments, clinical diagnoses and interventions
working alongside your Regional Director of Operations to develop therapy services
providing advice, guidance, training and supervision for the Therapy Teams in your region
focusing on clinical governance, quality assurance and team development.

About you

are a good role model, who can motivate, coach, teach and/or support colleagues according to your role and experience
have strong leadership skills, able to supervise clinical teams
have a thorough understanding of occupational therapy best practice, including clinical assessment and reasoning skills
understand the Mental Capacity Act and the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards in detail, and work within the Codes of Practice
have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
You must have a BSc or MSc in occupational therapy, be HCPC registered and have five years post-graduate experience to work as a Regional Occupational Therapist with Exemplar Health Care.

Roseside is a short drive from the M62 and other major roads including the B5178.
The home is situated at the end of Vancouver Road, on the right.
There are limited parking spaces in the home’s car park. Street parking is available along Vancouver Road.

The home is a short walk from several bus stops.
Wood Lane bus stop (stop ID: merdwadg), which is accessed by buses 79C, 166 and 615.
Vancouver Road bus stop (stop ID: merdwadg), which is accessed by buses 79C, 188 and 615.
Glebe Hey bus stop (stop ID: merdtwdw), which is accessed by buses 79C, 166, 615 and C44.
There are two train stations in the local area.
Huyton - 2.7 miles away (8 minute drive).
