About Eastlands:
Eastlands supports 20 adults living with complex mental health needs, physical disabilities and dementia.
The home has two ten-bed units, which gives it a homely and welcoming feel. One of the units is exclusively for those who identify as male and who have complex mental health needs.
In 2021, Eastlands welcomed a new Manager who has embedded a positive culture in the home. The home has an average rating of 4.3 out of 5 on carehome.co.uk.

About the Role:
Your role will involve supporting people with all aspects of their day-to-day living, which may include taking up new hobbies, meeting friends, getting involved in social activities, going to the gym or looking their best!
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Providing personal care such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and on occasion, assisting with meal times
- Promote independence, dignity, respect and choice across service users
- Support social and recreational activities; both in and out the home individually, or as part of a group
- Maintain care records; recording observations, activities and assessments
- On occasion, welcome and train new members of your care team

About You:
As a Care Assistant, you’ll provide person-centred care to support our service users to maximise their independence and live their best life.
- You will provide warmth, enthusiasm and compassion when providing care

Directions to Eastlands
Eastlands is a short drive from the A38 and other major roads including the A60 and A617.
If you're travelling north on the A38, turn left onto Coxmoor Road.
Continue on the Coxmoor Road, then turn left onto Kingfisher Way.
Eastlands is on your right.
There are parking spaces at the rear of the home.
Public transport to Eastlands
The home is a short walk from several bus stops.
Garden Lane bus stop (stop ID: ntsgdamd), which is accessed by buses 103 and 417.
Phoenix Street bus stop (stop ID: ntsgdata), which is accessed by bus 417.
There's also a train station in the local area.
Sutton Parkway - 1.3 miles away (28 minute walk or 4 minute drive).
