About the role
Our Lead Activities Coordinators lead our Activities Team and organise creative and fun activities for the people we support.
No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
organising individual activity plans based on people’s unique goals and interests
fostering community spirit through group activities
supporting people to maintain their current, and take up new, hobbies, interests and educational opportunities
assisting people to become more involved in their local community
celebrating national awareness days, holidays and individual/collective achievements
leading the in-house Activities Team
promoting choice, dignity and independence.

Ribble View is a short drive from junction 31 of the M6.
Take the A59 towards Devonshire Place, and continue on to Church Avenue.
There are limited parking spaces in the home’s car park. Street parking is available along Church Avenue.
Public transport to Ribble View
The home is a short walk from several bus stops.
Hesketh Arms bus stop in both directions (stop IDs: lanatwgp and lanagtgd), which is accessed by buses 9, 59, 100, 280 and 664.
There's also a train station in the local area.
Preston - 3.1 miles away (19 minute drive).
