Our new care home, Hamilton Springs, which supports adults living with complex needs arising from brain injuries, mental health conditions and neuro-disabilities, is officially open.
At Hamilton Springs, we provide complex nursing care that others can’t, to meet demand in the local area.
The home provides high acuity, nurse-led care services, particularly for people with secondary diagnoses, co-morbidities or those who’ve experienced previous failed placements.
Our services allow local people to stay in the community, reducing hospital and secure facility admissions.

“Important investment into our town”
Cutting the ribbon was The Right Worshipful the Mayor of the City of Wakefield Metropolitan District, Councillor Darren Byford.
We invited the Mayor to join in celebrating the opening of our new care home in South Elmsall.
Councillor Darren Byford commented: “I welcome this important investment into our town. Which not only brings a much-needed new home to the region for local people with complex care needs, but also provides job opportunities for local staff.”
After enjoying a tour of the home, the Mayor cut a ceremonial ribbon and declared Hamilton Springs officially open.
Extensive refurbishment of a former elderly care home
In 2022, we opened Bennett Court, our first care home in South Elmsall. As demand for a community-based services continued to grow, we found another opportunity in the local area.
We purchased a closed elderly care home, New Haven, and started work on an extensive refurbishment. The works transformed the tired building into a community-based care home for individuals with complex needs.
When refurbishing Hamilton Springs, we created an environment to support the quality of life for the people who live here.
The home is designed into small communities. This small group-living approach is highly responsive to individual needs.
It also gives us flexibility to adapt our living environment according to each person’s needs and preferences.
The former home had 50 bedrooms, and now it has 37 large bedrooms each with its own en-suite.
We designed areas to encourage close-knit communities within the home. Giving each unit a dining area, lounge, quiet lounge and sensory bathrooms.
The home now has an activities hub, beauty salon, multi-faith area, therapy room, visitor’s suite and landscaped gardens.
When decorating Hamilton Springs, we made sure the home felt warm and inviting, with all the comforts of home.
