The service has two dual occupancy houses across the road from the main care home.

About OneCare

Providing a pathway of care at Exemplar Health Care allows commissioners to fund a journey for service users – starting as a comprehensive service, but reducing over time without the need to move the person to another provider. For my client, the OneCare service provides a genuine opportunity for him to develop.

Complex care at Parkside

As a specialist care home, Parkside has an excellent track record of supporting adults whose placements have previously failed. Our high staffing levels allow us to build trust and work at the pace of the individual, which leads to improved person-centred and longer-term outcomes.

Many of the people we support at Parkside are deemed to display behaviours that are ‘too complex’ for mainstream nursing and care providers. Our Nurse-led team has the skills and expertise to support people who display extreme behaviours of concern, including aggressive and sexualized behaviours.

For many of our service users, we’re successful in achieving a significant reduction in behaviours of concern and use of observations within 12 weeks of stay.

About our care

The care and consideration they showed mum and my family will never be forgotten. Entrusting your loved one to a care home is a very difficult decision but please know that if you choose Parkside, your loved one will receive the best possible care.
