Complex care at Kingfisher View

As a specialist care home, Kingfisher View has an excellent track record of supporting adults whose placements have previously failed. Our high staffing levels allow us to build trust and work at the pace of the individual, which leads to improved person-centred and longer-term outcomes.

Many of the people we support at Kingfisher View are deemed to display behaviours that are ‘too complex’ for mainstream nursing and care providers. Our Nurse-led team has the skills and expertise to support people who display extreme behaviours of concern, including aggressive and sexualized behaviours.

For many of our service users, we’re successful in achieving a significant reduction in behaviours of concern and use of observations within 12 weeks of stay.

About our care

I’ve lived in lots of places and [Kingfisher View] is one of the best places you can be after a head injury! The staff are fantastic and the home is so warm and friendly, all of the residents get on and there’s plenty of activities here. We get to make friends, we get to cook together, clean together, live together. It gets you ready for future life.
