We’re proud to share that Longley Park View in Sheffield has been rated ‘Good’ by Care Quality Commission (CQC) following its latest inspection.
The home achieved a ‘Good’ rating in all five key questions - Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-led - reflecting the strength of its nurse-led model and its commitment to supporting adults living with complex needs in a truly person-centred way.

Personalised, holistic care shaped around each person
CQC found that support at the home is shaped around each person as an individual.
Care plans clearly reflect what matters to them - including their goals, preferences, and how they like to spend their time - as well as the right information to keep them safe and support them to make their own decisions wherever possible.
A staff member told inspectors how they promote individuality:
“By identifying people’s interests, abilities, and goals and then planning opportunities that match these. Activity staff provide support with travel, mobility, and any equipment or support needed to participate safely.
“They also plan and schedule activities according to individuals interests such as day trips, attending social events, clubs, exercise, volunteering, or learning opportunities.
"This is done in a way that encourages independence, confidence, and decision-making.”
This reflects a culture where meaningful activity and everyday experiences are built around each person - not delivered as a standard programme, but shaped around who they are.
Dhanya Vincent, Home Manager at Longley Park View, shares:
“We’re absolutely delighted with this report. I’m so proud of our team and the kindness, skill, and dedication they show every day.
"We take the time to really get to know the people who live here - what matters to them, what makes them smile, and what support they need to live well.
"This rating reflects the genuine relationships we’ve built and the homely, supportive environment we’ve created together.”

A safe, homely environment where people feel they belong
People and their relatives spoke positively about the care and support provided.
One person said: “I am happy here, they look after me.”
A relative told inspectors: “I cannot fault any part of it, all the staff are very good.” Another added: “I feel my relative is safe and cared for.”
Families highlighted how the team supports people to continue enjoying familiar routines and experiences.
One relative shared:
“Staff took my relative to places such as the airport to watch the planes, to Meadowhall to watch the trains and to have fish and chips.
"These were all the things my relative had enjoyed when they had lived at home.”
Trusted by professionals for clinical leadership and partnership working
Professional feedback was equally strong.
A professional told CQC:
“In my experience of multiple visits, it’s evident that staff there fully understand the residents and their care needs and relate to them in a very supportive and caring manner, which can be seen in the culture of the home. The residents are treated as individuals according to their needs and wishes.”
Another professional commented:
“There are no barriers to working with Longley Park View. Managers and the staff team are very open and take feedback on board in a reflective manner.”
