OneCare at Meadowcroft

The OneCare service at Meadowcroft provides specialist nursing care for adults living with complex needs, in a domestic environment. It's ideal for those with complex diagnoses and high acuity needs which cannot be met in a group living environment.

The service has two dual occupancy houses across the road from the main care home.

Its location means that people can be as independent from, or integrated with, the main care home as they wish. Our OneCare residents always have the support of an experienced multidisciplinary team of professionals just a few steps away.

Complex care at Meadowcroft

As a specialist care home, Meadowcroft has an excellent track record of supporting adults whose placements have previously failed. Our high staffing levels allow us to build trust and work at the pace of the individual, which leads to improved person-centred and longer-term outcomes.

Many of the people we support at Meadowcroft are deemed to display behaviours that are ‘too complex’ for mainstream nursing and care providers.

For many of our service users, we’re successful in achieving a significant reduction in behaviours of concern and use of observations within 12 weeks of stay.

About our care

People who used the service and relatives, spoke positively about the approach of staff whom they said were kind, caring and compassionate. People were involved as fully as possible in their care and treatment and staff respected their privacy and dignity. Independence was promoted and staff had a good understanding of people's diverse needs, preferences, routines and personal histories.
