Welcome to Exemplar Health Care’s homes in Derbyshire including Ripley.
Exemplar Health Care is a leading provider of specialist nursing care in England. Our care homes in Derbyshire support people living with complex and high acuity needs from the area, including those living with a neuro-disability, brain injury, spinal injury, stroke, mental ill-health, physical disability and complex dementia.
We work closely with local CCGs, including NHS Derby and Derbyshire CCG, and local councils, to provide placements for some of the most complex and acute individuals, who would often be in a hospital setting if not placed with us.
Our community-based homes mean that people from the Derbyshire region can receive the specialist nursing care that they need closer to their loved ones, and can continue to live in the wider community that’s always been their home.
Having this support available in the local area ensures that people get the right care, at the right time and by the right team, the first time round - which stops the cycle of failed placements and reduces the overall cost of care by saving on expensive and unnecessary hospital placements.
