October was a month of spooks and spectacular moments at Exemplar Health Care

The month of October has been jam packed with pumpkin picking, Halloween parties, achieving goals and hanging out with some new friends – we’ve done it all!
We’re also proud to have celebrated a significant milestone for Exemplar Health Care – we now have capacity to support 1000 adults living with complex needs.
Picking the best of the crop
To get into Autumn spirit, the teams at Quarryfields and Otterburn visited local farms to go pumpkin picking and find the perfect pumpkin to carve for Halloween.
Everyone at Neville Court enjoyed their carving session, and proudly displayed their creations in the home.
Fright night at Exemplar Health Care
To celebrate Halloween, Bennett Court threw a Halloween party including a morning of spooky entertainment, singing and dancing with Amanda from Singalong Days.
The turnout was fantastic and also included friends from the local Trinity Church and family members.
Willowbeck care home in Sheffield joined in the festivities with fun party games and fancy dress.
The team at Edgewater invited some usual guests to celebrate Halloween with them, and everyone loved sharing their home the owls and skunks for the day.
Achieving goals for Richard at Fairburn Vale
Richard has been working with the team at Fairburn Vale to achieve his goal of standing on his own.
This month, he enjoyed a visit to his parent’s house, spending time with his family and their dog, eating fish and chips and reminiscing over all the old photographs.
Richard even ended the visit with a family dance, which they were all over the moon with.
Celebrating supporting 1000 people
In October, we welcomed our 1000th resident to live with us at Scotia Heights.
Since opening our first care home, Greenside Court, in 2001, we’ve expanded across the North and Midlands to address the significant unmet need for community based, nurse-led complex care services.
We now proudly run 47 complex care services across England that support over 1000 people and employ over 4500 colleagues.
