Position: Leadership & Management Trainer
Location: Ferham House and across our portfolio homes 
Contract type: Full time, 40 hours per week – to start Aug/Sept 2024
Rate: £45,000 per annum plus £3,000 car allowance

 

This is an exciting opportunity to Join us as our new Leadership and Management Trainer across our portfolio homes.

In this role, you’ll support the development of the Leadership & Management capabilities within Exemplar Health Care in order to equip the current and future capability needs of the organisation.

About the role 

As a Leadership and Management Trainer with Exemplar Health Care, you’ll design and develop comprehensive training programs that cover essential leadership and management competencies, tailored to the specific needs and goals of the business.

No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

 

  • creating engaging learning materials, including presentations, case studies, activities, and assessments, to facilitate effective training sessions to support the Leadership Pathways Programme vision
  • delivering training workshops, seminars, and coaching sessions to enhance leadership and management skills across the business, creating a dynamic and interactive learning experience
  • facilitating discussions, group activities, and simulations to encourage active use of learning outcomes and design and deploy embedding processes across the delegate groups
  • offering relevant one-on-one coaching and mentoring to leaders and managers to address individual development needs, provide feedback, and support their growth journey
  • evaluating the effectiveness of training programs through pre- and post-assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms to measure learning outcomes and identify areas for improvement
  • staying updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in leadership and management development to enhance training offerings and support the learning culture
  • collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with internal stakeholders, such as HR, department heads, and senior leadership, to align training initiatives with business goals and priorities.

About you

Above all, you’re someone who identifies with our values of fun, integrity, responsiveness, success and teamwork.

You’ll also have:

  • a minimum of  three years’ experience in a leadership/management role within Learning & Development in a multi-site environment
  • a track record of designing and implementing successful leadership development programmes in a complex organisation
  • experience of managing people for a minimum of 2-3 years
  • an understanding of learning theory and latest thinking around delivery methodologies
  • proven ability to inspire others, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
  • a convincing and persuasive communicator, able to modify beliefs and opinions of teams, as well as senior stakeholders, able to establish effective and collaborative relations across Exemplar Healthcare and external agencies/stakeholders where required.
