Job Role:   Regional Physiotherapist
Care Home: Covering a patch of homes to include Doncaster, Barnsley, Hull and Immingham.
Hours: 40 Hours Per Week
Salary: £47,000

About The Role:

As a Regional Physiotherapist you will be responsible for working closely with the Regional manager and Head Physiotherapist and managing a case load of clients across your designated patch to include Doncaster, Barnsley, Hull and Immingham.

Key Duties:

  • Taking responsibility for a clinical caseload
  • Carrying out assessments and reviews, ensuring that service users receive appropriate treatment
  • Using appropriate communication skills and tools to communicate with service users
  • Monitoring, evaluating and recording service user progress, modifying treatment plans as required
  • Liaising with agencies including GPs, consultants, hospital staff, PCTs and social services
  • Liaising with the nursing team and care staff at the care home.
  • Working effectively as part of a team
  • Delegation of therapy to Therapy Assistants, Activities Co-ordinators and HCAs
  • Providing effective supervision and line-management of junior staff, including Therapy Assistants
  • Attending MDT meetings and presenting clinical updates
  • Maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation in line with legal requirements
  • Assisting with the training of other health care staff as required.

Requirements:

We expect that you will be a qualified physiotherapist and HCPC registered. Ideally you will have some experience within the independent, however this is not essential, and experience in tracheostomy, mental health, and neurological care would also be advantageous. Must also be a car driver.
