Personal Assistant to the Executive Management Team

Ferham House, Rotherham

We are looking for a responsible and professional Assistant to provide secretarial and administrative support to our Executive Management Team (EMT).  In an ever changing, fast paced business environment, you will undertake a variety of tasks on a daily basis to keep you busy, motivated and challenged!  You will be based at our head office in Rotherham called Ferham House, Monday to Friday 9-5pm.

Key Responsibilities (but not exhaustive)

  • PA support to Executive Management Team
  • Diary management, scheduling meetings and appointments
  • Booking/setting up meeting rooms
  • Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence
  • Handle queries, requests and complaints through to resolution
  • Take meeting minutes
  • Produce a variety of professional documents, such as letters, reports, minutes, presentations
  • Booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation
  • Events and conferences coordination and support
  • Chasing up on deadlines and actions
  • Liaising with EMT, staff, stakeholders, suppliers and clients
  • Processing cash and credit card expenses
  • Maintain paper based and electronic filing systems
  • Miscellaneous tasks to support the Executive Assistant
  • Support cover for EMT PAs and Reception


  • Proven work experience as a personal assistant/Professional assistant
  • MS Office skills and experience essential
  • A real team player, not frightened to get your hands dirty
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different working environments, e.g., covering sickness & annual leave for members of the team including Reception duties
  • Completer / Finisher
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills/ ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Previous knowledge of office management systems and procedures desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Discretion and confidentiality

The successful candidate will report directly to the Executive Assistant to the CEO/CFO and become a member of EMT Business Support & Reception Team
