Graphic Designer
Reports to: Senior Graphic Designer
Location: Hybrid working with some travel to our head office in Rotherham and care homes across the country
Salary: £28,000
We’re looking for a Graphic Designer to join our Marketing Team and bring our communications to life through creative, impactful design.
You’ll work closely with our Senior Graphic Designer across digital, print and social media projects, creating visuals that capture attention.
Our team supports internal communications, occupancy and recruitment projects, so the role will be varied.
One day you might be designing our ‘Exemplar Buzz’ magazine, the next working on concepts for our careers website, or creating an infographic to showcase learning and development opportunities.
We’re looking for someone who’s creative, enthusiastic about design and marketing, detail-oriented, organised and a strong team player.

About Exemplar Health Care
Exemplar Health Care is one of the country’s leading nursing care providers.
We support adults living with complex needs arising from brain injuries, dementia, mental health conditions, neurological conditions and physical disabilities.
We have over 50 care homes across England, with plans to open more homes to meet the growing demand for community-based complex care.
About this role
As our Graphic Designer, you’ll develop creative ideas and designs to support marketing activities and other business needs.
You’ll work on various projects, including:
liaising with colleagues to understand their design needs
developing concepts and designs that meet user needs
preparing and presenting design proposals
creating adverts, brochures, emails, leaflets, magazines and social media visuals
keeping up with design trends
working with external printers and production teams.
About you
While a design qualification or degree is desirable, it's not essential.
If you identify with our values, can demonstrate great design through your portfolio and meet the required skills, we’d love to hear from you!
We’re looking for someone with:
at least two years of experience in a similar role
a portfolio showcasing strong creative, layout and typography skills
knowledge of social media design
proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign/Illustrator/Photoshop), Microsoft Office and Canva
the ability to create on-brand designs that follow existing styles and guidelines
great organisation, communication and time-management skills
self-motivation
attention to detail and openness to feedback.
This is a hybrid role, with most of your time working from home. You must be able to travel to our Rotherham head office and care homes across England as needed (mileage reimbursed).
